It's the final day of the Kjell Nordbø tribute series here on Ancient Wonderworld. Signing off with a very simple, yet strong and expressive ballad, "Den indre kilde". Thanks for listening, and don't forget to check back in one week, when normal operations will resume on the blog.
Talking about Kjell's music and influences, I've just discovered an artist which is sounding quite similar. I don't know who influenced who, because both were members of the norwegian group Blues Muz around the same time:
I really enjoy this melancolic composition, typical of Kjell's style (or one of the several styles he developped).
ReplyDelete"Den indre kilde", "the inner source", a relevant title for the atmosphere of this music...
Another one I like very much, with a similar mood, is "The Small Path".
Thanks for the comments, and glad you enjoyed the feature!

Hope you'll like this as well ;)
Ah yes, the legendary GRG. As far as I know he started doing music some years before Kjell...
DeleteHmm, I've discovered new gems... have a look at C64Music/MUSICIANS/B/Bond_Alan/100_percent_BASIC_Project on HVSC (for example Undermine_BASIC.sid)
DeleteOh, that's some pretty interesting stuff for sure, thanks for bringing it to my attention.
