New Kulor album, horray! This is the soundtrack for an unfinished platformer game that Kulor was working on from 2006-2012. The XM soundtrack, which is based an imaginary sound chip configuration, has survived however. And now we can finally enjoy these joyful, cosy tunes as a proper album release.

Fellow chiptuner maak has posted a collection of Japanese MODs, ITs and XMs from the years 1999-2001. Rescued from an old CD, it contains 300 MB worth of rare and obscure works, many of which might be previously unknown to the western world.

ModArchive, one of the biggest and oldest collections of tracked music, has been hit by a double hard drive failure. No files have been lost, but the maintainers have announced they will take a week or so to get the site up and running again.

Update 14/04/02: The site is up and running again. There's still some maintenance work going on, so not all functions might be available as of now.
