[demo] Fantavision - 1985 Demo for Apple //e

A spectacular 30 year old demo for the Apple //e computer has been unearthed. Even though it consists mostly of animations, the hi-res visuals are mindblowing for the time (and not just that, considering the state of the Apple //e demoscene). It might well be on of the very first times such effects like unlimited bobs, rotating cubes and plotspheres were presented.

stitch - A New Tracker for Apple ][

After more than a quarter of a century, a new music editor for the Apple ][ hooter has been released. stitch features 4 channels of pulse frequency modulated 1-bit sound, complete with a modern, minimalistic but slick looking tracker interface.

The mastermind behind this tool is krüe, who already brought us the Electric Duet plugin for 1tracker as well as the Drift music disk.

The software is currently in beta stage and does not support the original Apple ][ nor the ][+ yet (so in fact it requires an Apple //e). But other than that I can confirm that it's already quite usable.

Download stitch here. And if you like, head over to the 1-Bit Forum to discuss the software, report bugs, and request new features.
