It's time for a new DD special. This week, we take a look (or rather listen) at the SEGA Master System.

As we all know, music certainly wasn't one of the strong points of the SMS, and the Texas Instruments SN76489 used by the console counts arguably as one of the worst soundchips ever made. However, if you can look beyond the the almost complete absence of bass, there were actually some pretty killer soundtracks available on the machine back in the days.
