FuzixOS - A New Unixoid OS for Z80 Machines

Legendary Linux developer Alan Cox has released a new UNIX-flavoured operating system for Z80-based computers.

Although the project is currently in a very early stage, the OS already boots on suitable machines and is ready for testing purposes. Fuzix is designed to be portable, and test builds of the core code have already been done for 6502 and 6809 processors as well.

Winning over Booze's entry by a very slim margin and code-wise perhaps less impressive than that one, it is stunningly well designed and directed, and the oldskool-ish soundtrack is top notch as well.

More FM goodies, this time coming from a Sound Blaster 16. "The Arrival" is the debut album of Warez Waldo, who is obviously no stranger to OPL3 synthesis. Leaning towards dark, quirky New House with heavy influences from early 90s MS-DOS games, this release is quite something.

Enter Windows 93, an online, audio-visual, interactive HTML5/Javascript assault on good taste by French lo-fi genius Jankenpopp. Pure madness. And it runs LSDJ, among other things.

New Zan-zan! For realz! More beat driven than previous Zan releases, but still progressive as f*ck. Possibly one of the best chip releases this year.
